had the coolest new year's ever. on the 25th of december, I took a bus to Riga, then a bus to Kaunas, Lithuania, met my sweetheart Ieva there, spent the night in Kaunas and thennnnnnn the next evening we took a bus to Warsaw, got there early morning of the 27th, took a train to Krakow, met Ola there, the same night Saray and Petra arrived as well and we had botellon with Zubrowka at our hostel room. The next day we visited a salt mine nearby and in the evening, took a bus to Zakopane, the cutest town ever, it is in the mountains and is considered to be the winter capital of Poland. We had another botellon at a hostel room, spent the next day randoming around Zakopane, in the evening took a bus back to Krakow, where we waited for a train to Wroclaw in the company of a lot of homeless people, took a train (while having another botellon) to Wroclaw, had a fight with the conductor lady (well, Ola did) who decided to give us a fine because we had bought the wrong tickets. Oh whatever. Early morning we reached Wroclaw and took a bus to Swidnica where Ola is from. We spent the next 3-4 days (including new year's eve) at her amazingly huge and beautiful house siesting, fonding, and just having another short Erasmus experience. It was the coolest and most awesome time ever. Dominika joined us as well!!!! On the morning of the 3rd, we went to Wroclaw, to stay with Dominika for a night. In the end, it was just me Ieva and Dominika. But it was awesome. And the way back also took me almost 24 hours but oh well. Loved the trip although it was probably too long (12 days for me). But Poland is beautiful and I can't wait to see my guapas again!!! Planning a new trip already! Hasta la proxima vez.
